All team members are in Cooperstown safe and sound.
We were able to get together this evening - the boys of course played some whiffle ball down by the lake. They also practiced for their "around the horn" competition.
The parents shared stories and a lot a laughs. We found out that some of us took some rather scenic routes to get here - seeing a lot of New York and the countryside.
The Oldham's checked into their place and quickly decided that they wouldn't even allow the homeless man from Sailfish Park to stay there. They are now staying in a home that has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens (and they have the magazine to prove it).
The Urban's have been dealing with a bunch of RATS and we don't mean the boys either.
The parents would like to send out kudos to Mike and Terry for their patience in line tonight to get our boys registered.
Looking forward to tomorrow - Opening ceremonies and the Skills competition.
Games begin on Sunday - see sidebar schedule.
