  1. Parents, Coaches, and Players:
Renea, Eli, and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for making this such an enjoyable season. We've all had so much fun getting to know all of you and watching the boys play ball. You have made us feel welcome from day one. As you know, we have spent a lot of time on the road these past ten months which has given us, as a family, a lot of "together time" in the car. Being educators, this has given Renea and I plenty of teachable moments with Eli. At first we would quiz Eli on the names of his new teammates, positions they played, signs from the coaches, etc....But as time has gone on we have talked about something he could learn from each of the kids on the team - something that makes each of them an integral part of the team. So, if you click on your child's comment link we have listed something that Elijah, Renea and I admire most about each of his teammates.

  2. HAMMERHEADS...we should all be very proud of "our" boys of summer. We have a great group of kids and I am so proud of each and everyone of them. Each of them brings something special to the team and together they are unstoppable. Not only do they excel on the field but in school as well and they should be proud of the fact they can manage all of this and have fun doing it, that's a great quality to have. I've never been much of a baseball follower but I have to say I absolutely LOVE watching you all play. You've accomplished a lot and will all go far in life. Enjoy Cooperstown, it will be an experience to remember. Be good, play hard but most of all, HAVE FUN!!!

  14. Hammerheads Team, Coaches, and Parents: As Kameron's Grandma, I just want to say how much I've enjoyed the games I've watched you play. You are an awesome bunch of boys who will go far in life. You are all learning life's lessons as you play ball together. As a little girl, my Dad played semi-pro baseball and I traveled all over the country watching him play. When he retired from playing himself, he coached many little league teams. I grew up with a love of baseball and I'm so happy and proud to be watching my grandson play with such a wonderful team. Keep up the good work...both on the field and off. Prayers for a safe and fun rest of the week and trip home.
